![]() ![]() No need to do 1a though I think making headset default would be good for most situations. For that connect the DS4 then go toĪudio Devices > Playback > select the DS4 and disable itĭisable DS4 as audio as described in Option 1b above. ![]() If you sometimes use speakers the DS4 could still be an issue. When you connect the DS4 it shouldn't matter when the headset is connected, before or after, as the headset is default. Originally posted by Suicidal Monkey:Option 1Īudio Devices > Playback > set headset as default (no need for DS4 to be connected.) Is there a way to have my computer still detect and send audio to the usb headset when the controller is plugged in, or is the fact that the computer detects the controller as a headset going to forever doom connecting a usb headset at the same time as a wired controller. I've tested by accessing device manager and checking the headset driver when the controller is plugged in, and it completely removes the headset and its driver when plugged in. To be certain that it isn't just the order of devices, I've plugged the usb headset into the computer after the controller was already in, and the computer didn't recognize the headset. ![]() The issue I'm having is that when I am using a usb headset for communication, and I plug in the dualshock controller to play a game, the controller disables the usb headset. I don't know if I have done this in the past, but I believe I have, but lately I'm having an issue doing so. I need some help with being able to connect a dualshock 4 controller and usb headset at the same time. ![]()
